The situation

A small landlord owns eight rental properties across the city. After the latest reassessment cycle, checking each one individually against comparable sales — and tracking each property's own appeal deadline — would take a full weekend of manual work, property by property.

Step 1: Run each address

The landlord enters each property's address into TaxAssessmentIQ one at a time, pulling the current OPA assessment and comparable sales for each.

Step 2: See where the gaps are

Three of the eight properties come back meaningfully over-assessed relative to comparable sales; the other five are in line. Rather than treating the whole portfolio the same way, the landlord now knows exactly which three are worth the effort to appeal.

Not every property in a portfolio is over-assessed the same way. Treating them all identically wastes effort on the ones that don't need it.

Step 3: File only where it counts

The landlord downloads BRT-ready appeal packets for the three flagged properties, each with its own deadline tracked, and leaves the other five alone.

Who this is for

Small landlords and property owners managing a handful of rental units who need an efficient way to check an entire portfolio, not just one address.
